The Brief

Avon International approached Gavin Schneider Productions as part of an international tender process to commission a series of images for their new product line. Given the tighter budget constraints, we had to seek a cost-effective solution that upheld Avon International’s renowned high-quality standards. Additionally, GSP was responsible for identifying a suitable location that not only fit within the budget but also aligned with the project’s creative requirements.

The Solution

We proposed shooting at a beach house in Noordhoek, a small town just outside of Cape Town, to provide a stunning backdrop for the images. By opting for a local shoot, GSP effectively reduced travel and accommodation costs for the team and models. We selected David Kennedy, an experienced photographer known for his efficiency, to capture the images. He worked swiftly and effectively, ensuring that the shoot remained within the budget and timeline. The exceptional dedication of the team and models contributed significantly to the project’s success, as they went above and beyond their duties.

Despite the challenges, we successfully delivered a series of images that surpassed Avon International’s expectations. The images received high acclaim, leading Avon International to promptly purchase them. Our cost-effective approach and meticulous attention to detail resulted in a triumphant project that fulfilled the client’s requirements while staying within the budget.
