New Balance, a global athletic footwear and apparel brand, approached us at Gavin Schneider Productions to create a New Balance campaign showcasing their latest collection.

The Brief

The client wanted to showcase their latest collection in a unique and stunning location that reflected the brand’s focus on durability and performance in harsh environments. They also wanted the campaign to convey the freedom and joy of exercising and staying active.

The Solution

We scouted various locations and ultimately decided to return to Kersefontein on the west coast of South Africa due to its dry, cracked salt pans, flat horizon, big sky and its extraordinary light in the early mornings and mid-afternoon. We captured stunning high-angle shots showing the model running in the vast expanse, which perfectly conveyed the freedom and joy of exercising in a beautiful and rugged environment. The model also showcased the comfort and durability of New Balance’s clothing and designs. The resulting  New Balance campaign perfectly matched the client’s vision and received excellent feedback from both the client and the public.
