We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Jon Enoch, an award-winning advertising photographer and director known for his bold, uncomplicated approach to imagery. Jon brought his vision for a two-brief shoot to Cape Town, and we were thrilled to be a part of this exciting project. Whether he’s working on a large-scale shoot with complex lighting and a full crew in a London studio or capturing moments with just a

The Brief

For Jon Enoch’s brief, titled “Reflections,” he sought an incredible landscape to feature a mirrored box, sturdy enough to hold a person’s weight, in the middle of an epic location. This unique setting would enhance the visual impact, creating a striking contrast between the natural surroundings and the reflective structure. The models for this part of the brief were chosen for their lifestyle look that is both edgy and aspirational, aligning perfectly with the innovative and captivating essence of the project.

The Solution

For this brief, we knew Atlantis Dunes would be the perfect location for Jon’s shoot. Located just over 50 km outside Cape Town, the Atlantis Dunes are part of the Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve and are a protected natural landscape. A permit is required to enter the Dunes. The rolling white dunes immediately transport you to a new world and are a very popular location in season. With the help of a special 4×4 vehicle, we managed to transport the mirrored box to the dunes, allowing Jon to capture some incredible images for his portfolio
