As with many pharmaceutical campaigns, the subliminal message was of someone helping someone else in their quest to live a healthy, active life. We had lots of different outdoor lifestyle scenarios to cover, shooting everywhere from Lourensford wine estate to the iconic coastal stretch leading to Chapmans Peak.

The challenge of this shoot was that all long-view establishing shots – for example the back of a person canoeing, or a cyclist on a long stretch of road – had been taken prior to the production. So we had to match the models down to the smallest detail – posture, profile and silhouette. This meant custom making a life jacket, sourcing a specific vintage style bicycle, finding a special haïr spray to match the grey in the runner’s haïr and relocating an old classical canoe to match the previous campaign shot.
