    1. What were some of the standout moments from this past season?

We have been incredibly fortunate to enjoy a remarkable season at GSP. We welcomed back many loyal clients and had the pleasure of collaborating with new ones. Overall, it was a season filled with successful campaigns that we can proudly reflect upon.

    1. How has Cape Town evolved as a shoot location over the years?

Cape Town continues to astound me with its versatility and beauty. We are truly fortunate to call this place home. Every season, we discover previously untapped locations, such as the Neuroscience Institute and the innovative office spaces constantly emerging around the city. This ongoing development is exciting as it allows us to offer fresh and inspiring spaces to our clients. Additionally, Cape Town’s commitment to preserving natural areas and landscapes is commendable. Witnessing the sustainability efforts to protect our environment is truly inspiring.

    1. What excites you the most about the industry in Cape Town?

Having worked in this industry for over 30 years, I have witnessed significant positive changes. We now have highly skilled and trained crews who are world-class in their respective fields. Cape Town’s models and talent are exceptionally versatile and unique, enabling us to encompass a wide range of ethnicities and inclusivity in one location. This diversity and inclusivity is a substantial advantage for our advertising projects.

    1. What does winter look like at GSP, and how do you ensure you find time to relax and recharge for the upcoming season?

Winter is a time for quality time with family and friends. I enjoy hitting the tennis court and fly fishing. I also plan an annual trip to the UK in September to visit clients and network, which I always look forward to.

I have worked with GSP for over 10 years now and have always been seriously impressed. You definitely feel that with the guys in the office and the crew on set that you are working with the ‘A’ team. Nothing’s a problem, their level of professionalism is second to none, you are working with friendly people of intelligence, who are resourceful, that show initiative and who can actually make what is normally a long and difficult day into something quite enjoyable – amazing!

Our complete ‘go to’ team when it comes to leaving the Alps and heading for some summer sun in Cape Town. We have been working with Gavin and his team since 1993. Their level of professionalism is second to none in Cape Town production companies. I have taken both photo and film projects and have clients that have filmed their commercials with GSP and all love the level of service. The GSP braai is a legendary experience too. Don’t think twice if you need to shoot a catalogue, make a short film or the latest tv commercial these guys are on it.

Gavin & teamwork on projects with passion and immense experience, always bringing interesting points of view and adding value to a project with new ideas, great locations and interesting talents as well experienced freelancers from Assistants, Stylists and other people who support my team and work.

Their friendly and positive attitude make them a fantastic crew to work with and we are always looking forward to our next collaboration.

You and your team were incredible. No detail was left undone. It was a challenge but a huge success due to your grace under pressure and seamless production. And I am happy we were able to have laughs along the way. I so enjoyed meeting you and your team and hope our paths cross again someday.
